What is QLASSIC?
Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) is an independent system adopted by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) to measure and evaluate the workmanship quality of a building construction work based on the Construction Industry Standard. It enables the workmanship quality between construction projects to be objectively compared through a scoring system.

The quality of workmanship of a construction work is assessed according to the requirement of the standard i.e: Construction Industry Standard (CIS: 2006). QLASSIC assessment on a construction project should be carried out by a competent assessor by CIDB. QLASSIC assessment will be conducted after completion of a building construction work before handing over of the completed project The objective is to encourage the contractor to “Do Things Right the First Time and Every Time”.
